I feel like this isn't a logic game, too many of the clues feel like they are irrelevant or rely on emotion rather than logic

one thing i noticed was that closing the doors while a piece was behind them killed the piece, which could maybe be an interesting "trick" for one of the puzzles

Why is the first code what it is? it's not cani forwards or backwards, it just contains those 4 letters. also, what reason do you have to be clicking the wall? I never would have figured that out if I hadn't given up and used a walkthrough.
